Classical guitarist, church musician, and author Donn LeVie Jr. embodies J.S. Bach's vision for glorifying God and refreshing the soul with his classical guitar arrangements of sacred music and traditional hymns. In addition, Donn writes and speaks on incorporating the arts for Christian worship but with an eye and ear for the celebration of creative freedom and the discipline of artistic self-control in perfect equilibrium.
A former NOAA research geological oceanographer, exploration geologist for Phillips 66, documentation manager for Motorola and Intel Corporation, and former adjunct faculty lecturer in the University of Houston system, Donn is also the author of more than 80 professional papers in the earth sciences, marketing, and technical communications as well as more than 800 general interest articles and seven books, three of which have won major awards.
He graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a B.S. in Geology, attended the University of Houston to work on an M.S. in Geochemistry (Planetary), and has earned a Masters Certificate in Christian Apologetics from Biola University.
