Donn LeVie, Jr. website

Donn LeVie, Jr. has authored three non-fiction books, studied guitar for
more than 40 years, and has served as a church musician in various
capacities since he was a teenager. Today, he writes books on Christian
worship topics, Protestant Christian apologetics, (he is pursuing a
Masters degree in Christian apologetics), classical guitar topics,
writing/publishing, speaks to church groups on exonerating the Christian
worldview over others, and performs his classical guitar arrangements of
sacred and traditional music for worship in churches around the country.

Donn's companion music CD, entitled For HYMN, contains his classical
guitar arrangements of sacred music, traditional hymns, and inspired
classical music. The CD features music from throughout the history of the
church by renown composers and musicians and by those whose works
are little known. The CD will be available in 2010 on the Good Harbor
Music label.

In fact, Donn's unique platform for exonerating a Christian worldview
combines his writing, speaking, teaching, and classical guitar
performances, because Donn believes that as Christians, the strength of
our Christian worldview must be reflected in all our choices - especially our
worship music choices. Any catering to worldly musical styles or other
artistic distractions in our worship services dilutes our Christian
presuppositions and challenges the sufficiency of Scripture. As the late
Christian apologist and theologian philosopher Dr. Greg Bahnsen wrote, if
we proclaim a Christian worldview at any point on the Christian spectrum,
we must also do so at every point along that spectrum. Worship music
choices must never be about personal preferences or used to fill the pews
on Sundays.
